Episode summary
Brooks and Casey investigate the death of a woman whose body is recovered from the Thames. Initial enquiries focus on the dead woman's abusive ex-husband, but when they uncover a relationship between her second husband and her daughter it suggests a possible motive for murder.
Fun and viewer review
As an American, I began watching L&O many years ago. Then came the sequels L&O-SVU and L&O-Criminal Intent. There was even a 4th - L&O-Trial by Jury but it didn't make it. When I discovered L&O UK, I was thrilled. I have enjoyed watching it. I don't understand why they draw stories from us. Surely the UK has enough crime to pull stories from but they do add twists to make the episodes interesting. I miss James, Alesha & Matt though. I don't think I'm gonna like Kate but I'll give her a chance.
